Kelsey Grammer’s Un-PC T-Shirt Sure Is Making Anti-Gun, Pro-Abortion Activists Squirm

Actor Kelsey Grammer – probably best known for his role as Dr. Frasier Crane in the sitcom “Cheers” and popular spinoff “Frasier” – is somewhat of an outsider in Hollywood for one particular reason: his political stance.Grammer touched on this in a 2012 interview with late-night host Jay Leno, in which he suggested that “it’s possible” he was snubbed for an Emmy as a result of his being “a declared out of the closet Republican in Hollywood.”

Whether or not there’s any truth to that will most likely forever remain a mystery, but it certainly doesn’t seem to have prevented the actor from continuing to express his beliefs, as seen in this recent Instagram post:In this photo, posted to Grammer’s wife’s Instagram on Wednesday, the five-time Emmy winner is seen wearing a pro-life shirt that reads:Would it bother us more if they used guns?

Not only does the shirt make a clear statement in regard to abortion and the controversial Planned Parenthood videos, but also ties in the topic of recent gun-related tragedies.

After the image was shared, Grammar was criticized for speaking out on the topic because he’s not female:

@yaeltime YOU WILL LITERALLY NEVER EXPERIENCE ANY OF THIS. WHY DO YOU FEEL THAT YOUR INPUT IS IMPORTANT.

Others defended the photo of the actor, which the Huffington Post labelled as “bizarre”:

@HuffPostEnt Not bizarre. Says maybe if a gun was used to kill babies during abortion, proponents would finally get upset..

More recently, Grammer – who supported Mitt Romney in 2012 and campaigned for John McCain in 2008 – has been seen in films from the blockbuster franchises “X-Men” and “Transformers,” as well as the Golden Globe-winning TV series “Boss.”
