A Tale Of Two Snakes – Johnny Horne

A great commentary/analogy on a matter of great concern to all Americans!

By Johnny Horne…

Here’s a quick little thing for my bleeding heart friends to digest…

Most people in the country know very little about snakes. Put a California milk snake and a coral snake in front of them and at a glance most people wouldn’t be able to tell them apart.

Now, imagine if you will, a small pit filled with 999 milk snakes and 1 coral snake. Then imagine, by no choice of your own, you have to dangle your small child by the legs above this pit, blind folded, and have him/her reach in that pit and grab a milk snake, all the while praying to God, Buddah, Allah, whoever you pray to, that he/she doesn’t grab that damn coral snake.

The big risk here is that there are so few coral snake bites in the country that the company that makes coral anti venom does not make it anymore because (true fact) there are so few coral snake bites that it’s not profitable to produce and cost way too much to make.

Your child’s only reward for catching the right snake, which they probably will almost every time, is that he/she doesn’t die.

My question to you, is it worth the risk? What is the upside for catching that snake? There’s nothing in it for your child except that he/she doesn’t die, which they won’t anyway so long as they’re not forced to reach into the snake pit.

Next question, how is this any different than the current refugee situation we’re facing? Nothing to gain, everything to lose. Most are probably harmless, but since we don’t know anything about them why should we subject our children to the possibility of letting a terrorist slip through the cracks?

Enough of them find their way into the country on their own. Are we really so hungry for violence that we have to start importing it now?

If you let 200,000 refugees in and only one of them was a bad apple, that’s one too many. It’s my opinion that 199,999 Syrians are not worth one single American life. Not one.

There should be no risk assumed upon the people of our country by letting undocumented refugees into our country. You want to try and turn this into a racial or religious bigotry thing go right ahead. But I personally don’t subscribe to that. I look at it with common sense.

If you don’t know what kind of snake is slithering across the path you might be better off leaving it alone.

The chances of being a victim of domestic violence are less than 0.001% (fact, it has been calculated by Factcheck.org). Chances are much, much higher that you’re being hit by lightning, a falling air conditioner, a car accident or about anything else really. NOT A SINGLE refugee that was allowed US citizenship was later involved in acts of terrorism within the US later on, EVER. You’re basically denying a tremendous amount of suffering people that are scared to death, most are women and children because you’re a little afraid. And then you dare to have a banner at the top of your page about karma. Please don’t be ignorant and don’t be led solely by emotions, because politicians (all sides) use divide and conquer and our emotions to steer and lead us. Try to be human, not a sociopath that can only think of ” me me me’ . And pray you never end up in a foreign country with almost no clothes, no food or water, and a very uncertain future because politicians decided to use the turmoil to their advantage.
